The Good Practices Manual project began in the 2008/2009 academic year, as part of the collaboration between the QUC team and the Academic Development Unit (NDA) team, under the coordination of the Pedagogical Council.
As part of this project, some teaching practices developed by IST teaching staff identified as excellent for their performance in 1st and 2nd Cycle Curricular Units were collected and systematized.
The aim of this collection and systematization of pedagogical practices (some of which are innovative) is to make them accessible to all higher education academic staff, either through studies or interviews with academic staff members classified as excellent under the QUC system. This Manual of Good Practices will be continuously updated over the years, and will be periodically supplemented by the addition of useful links, the publication of reference articles in the area of pedagogy in Higher Education in general and in the area of Science and Technology in particular, and will therefore benefit from the contributions of the entire Academic Community.
